They also make a lot of damage to homes they invade because they like to chew on various things in people’s homes and apartments. Peppermint Essential Oil

So, if you want to prevent house mice from entering your home, you will need to apply 30 drops of peppermint oil on several cotton balls. When you do this, place those cotton balls around your house, both in the inside of your home and outside your home.

Get a Cat or a Dog
You probably saw several times in cartoons that cats and dogs love chasing house mice. Well, that is not only true in cartoons; it is also true in the real life. Real-life cats and dogs are fond of chasing house mice.

So, if you are afraid that one day mouse invasion may take over your home, get a cat or a dog, and you will be safe of any type of mice.

Mouse Spray
There are several mouse sprays you can purchase today. However, not all of them are efficient in preventing mouse infestation in your home. But, there is one special mouse spray that will prevent them from entering your home. That mouse spray contains as a main ingredient hot pepper extracts.

So, if you decide to buy a mouse spray that will prevent mice from entering your home, opt for buying one that contains hot peppers extract. Mice find the smell of hot peppers irritating.

Pay Attention to Holes
Do you know how mice enter your home? Well, they most certainly don’t knock on your door and ask you can they come in. These little pests come inside your home through small cracks and openings in your home’s walls and in the foundation of your home.

If you don’t want these little pests invade your home, you should carefully inspect your house’s exterior walls and foundation. In case you find such small holes and openings, you should seal them with something that mice can’t chew, such as steel mesh.
